Welcome to the Gaussian Sum Calculator

Named after a famous mathematician named Carl Friedrich Gauss,
the Gaussian sum is a special way of adding consecutive numbers.
It's like a magic formula to quickly add up a bunch of consecutive numbers!
Start with two numbers: The first number and the last number in a sequence.
Add the first and last numbers together. Multiply the result by the total number of pairs.
Each pair consists of one number from the beginning and one from the end.
Divide the result by 2. This is because each pair gives you two of the same sum,
and dividing by 2 makes sure you don't count them twice.

Here is a calculator i made for you.
You can generate a visualization of the number of sums between two numbers of your choice.

its recommended to use smaller numbers(1-50) to not break the site.
